Hi Weirdos!  Welcome to Earth!

This week Ashley and Lauren are sitting down with Set Designer/Nature Lover Madelyn Wilkime to discuss all the weirdest things on this big blue planet.

This week is part one of WEIRD NATURE and we are talking about the craziest weather-- lightning that never ends, tornados made up of MORE than wind, and times that it has rained... interesting.. things.  As well as plants!  Smelly plants, plants that eat meat, and even a plant that may be from another planet...

Take a trip outside, marvel at the beauty and power of mother earth, and uh... maybe check the forecast first.

Hi Weirdos!  Welcome to another "HELTER SKELTER" episode!  Formerly known as "Ask A Weirdo!"  Formerly, formerly known as "Our Attempt at a Minisode."

Our faithful, beautiful, perfect listeners are the best best best and they send us some of the coolest stuff.  From personal stories to paranormal/supernatural theories and sometimes even questions about the paranormal or asking advice!

In these episodes we take the time to address all of these amazing emails and direct messages sent in by YOU the Listener.  This week we cover paranormal games, how to deal with a poltergeist, serial killer offspring, and what your blood type might have to do with being abducted by aliens.

Welcome to our first (and hopefully not last) Keep It Weird Special Edition True Crime Investigation!

In June of 2018, Ashley was introduced to the story of the unsolved murder of John William Shakespeare in 1975 in her hometown of Centralia, Illinois.  What happened from there was months of research alongside her childhood best friend and high school English teacher Stephen Garland.

This episode presents to you the very first time we were able to sit down together with all of the evidence that we had gathered and try to put it all together to solve the puzzle.  The crime was insidious.  The people involved were atrocious.  The twists and turns were astounding.

What you are about to hear is a collection of evidence and accounts gathered from police reports, newspaper publications, local's accounts, and our own personal experiences whilst researching this case.  There have been no arrests in this case and all evidence is circumstantial.  The opinions and theories expressed in this episode are speculative and theoretical and were derived from ongoing reports and first hand accounts that were collected.

Special thanks to Kristina Worlds, the Centralia Historical Society, Esty Garland, Pam Casseday, Ron Casseday, and the many local Centralians who contributed to this episode.

Ever get so mad that you punch a wall or throw your phone?  What about black out and murder your husband?  No?

This week Lauren and Ashley are chatting about CRIMES OF PASSION.  What happens when murder happens out of the blue?  No premeditation, no planning; just good old fashioned killin'.

We share some of the most famous cases and several cases that you may not have heard of.  We talk about the people who committed these crimes, whether or not they were convicted, and what defense was used in their trial.

Warning: This episode is very dark and some of the crimes are extremely graphic.  We are a comedy podcast, so as usual we discuss these crimes with a disconnection.  We are not making fun of the deceased and nothing we say should be taken with any amount of sincerity basically ever.
