Aye Aye, Weirdies!

This is your captain speaking.  Here we go again with another trip to the open ocean!  Welcome to Deep Sea part Two!!

Ashley and Lauren are joined once again by Melanie, marine biologist and Armenian queen, to discuss SEA MONSTERS!!

Lauren will be telling us all about mythological sea monsters that may or may not be lurking at the bottom of the ocean (they are.) We discuss the origins of each creature both geographically and their genesis.

Melanie is going to be teaching us about some real life deep sea creatures that you will barely believe are real, and Ashley will be throwing in some other random terrifying shit that you can find at the bottom of the big blue.

Make sure you check out our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/keepitweirdcast to see pictures of all the creatures we chat about on today's episode!

Ahoy Weirdos!

Welcome to part one of our dive into the DEEP SEA!  Get ready for about one hundred more sea puns, whether you like it oar not.  Get it?

Ashley & Lauren have the pleasure of sitting down with returning guest Melanie Vartabedian who has a degree in marine biology and is genuinely a lover of the sea.

Melanie teaches us all about the ocean and how it is structured, the types of creatures that live within each layer, how those creatures need each other to survive, and how we, on land, need all of them as well.

We discuss marine biology, underwater weather, the circle of life, the importance of Spongebob Squarepants, and of course; the CIA (WHAT)

Join us for part two next week when we send Lauren over the edge with SEA MONSTERS

Hi Weirdos!

Welcome to Part TWO of our Human Body episode!  We wanted to interview people with interesting bodies-- so as you know last week we were able to sit down with comedian Nick Wuthrich who was born without testicles; it was fascinating and we had a blast!

This week, Nick joins us again as we chat with Lauren who, as you may or may not know, has a little creature inside her.  Yes, she's expecting a baby in less than a month!  We're so excited, and we got to ask her all our questions.

We discuss what she loves and hates about pregnancy, the amazing things her body is doing & will do, her struggles and her successes, fetal development, gene mapping and cloning, and sex.

Warning: This episode contains some very graphic descriptions of natural and cesarean birth.

Hi Weirdos!

As you know each week we sit down and talk about something strange, unusual, paranormal, supernatural, creepy, sticky, gross, scary or anything in between-- this week we're focusing on the in between.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with my friend and comedian Nick Wuthrich for part one of our HUMAN BODY episode!  We invited Nick to chat with us this week because he has a very special body, indeed.  Nick was born, and has lived his entire life, without testicles.

This week Nick tells us about what it was like to grow up "different," his ups and downs with taking testosterone, his sex life, and most importantly how he's taken what could be seen as a negative and turned it into a very positive and funny life.

You can follow Nick on instagram @nickwuthrich and check out his youtube show "Neutered by Nature."

Coming at you LIVE from North Hollywood, California!

Last month we had the privilege of opening for the My Worst Date podcast for their very first live performance at the Actor's Workout Studio in Los Angeles!

Since their show is all about dating, we wanted to cover a topic that would make you think twice about dating ever again. So this week we are chatting about WOMEN who date and sometimes even MARRY convicted serial killers!

What? Who? Why?  Why would anyone ever?  The answer may surprise you.  We take a look at who these women are and the psychology behind why someone would ever find these men to be husband material.

Warning: This episode contains foul language and was recorded in front of a live audience.  For this reason the audio quality and length of the episode may differ from our usual shows.  Have no fear-- next week we're back on the couch with full episodes.
