Tunk It, Weirdos!

Welcome to PART TWO of Maine Mayhem!  Boy this state is wild!

Maine native Kate Alden joins us once again-- last week she shared a ton of scary haunting stories-- old tales as well as personal experiences she and her family has had in that great singular syllable state.

This week Lauren is going to be sharing some of Maine's most gruesome murders that will make you question whether or not the place really is as safe as they say it is...

And Ashley will be scaring Lauren with some sea creatures, marveling at some monsters, creeping you out with some curses, and sharing a sweet, sweet story about a seal.

Strap on your bibs and heat up some butter-- we're heading back to Maine-ayuh.

Ayuh, Weirdos!

Stay away from the road!  This week Ashley and Lauren are joined by Maine native Kate Alden as we explore all the strangeness in her home state.

Our Hometown Haunts series examines the monsters, murders, and ghosts each corner of the planet has to offer and this week we're focusing on the HAUNTS.

Kate shares with us all of the local legends and spooky specters and she also has a TON of personal stories and firsthand accounts with the spirits residing in the lobster capital.

And don't think we forgot about the King.  Maine's native son, Mr. Stephen Edwin King, is featured heavily in this episode as we discuss his works, his life, and his love affair with our single syllable state.

Welcome Weirdos, one and all!

This week we had the pleasure of sitting down with several guests at the TeaPop May Market in North Hollywood.  Lauren and I grabbed our recording equipment and set up a booth and found some brave souls to chat with us and share some of their WEIRD stories!

On top of that YOU sent us some of YOUR weird stories as well! Come along as Ashley and Joe try to get to the bottom of these strange tales.

This week has a little bit of everything-- from ligers to flesh eating bacteria, sociopaths to shadow figures, and whistling ghosts to madmen on rooftops; its time to get weird.

Hi Weirdos!

One, Two, Unheimlich's comin' for you.  Three, Four better lock your door.

Welcome to PART TWO of our CREEPY CHILDREN episode!  Ashley and Lauren are joined again by Lauren's wonderful sister Julia and her newborn baby boy Wilder as we continue our creepy chat.

Last week we talked all about the paranormal and children's abilities to witness it.  This week Lauren kicks it off by telling us about some children who MURDER and it is a nightmare.  Extra Warnings this week-- it's not an easy topic.

But have no fear, Julia is here to lighten up the mood when she brings us her research into the psychology behind why children are oh so spooky.  Creepy kids in movies have always brought in those box office dolla bills-- and the reason why may surprise you.

Hi sweet baby Weirdos!

Welcome to a very special episode of Keep It Weird.  This week we not only have a long anticipated guest-- Lauren's sister Miss Julia!! But it's also our first episode recorded with baby Wilder!! And yes you will hear him.

To commemorate this momentous occasion, we decided to chat about CREEPY CHILDREN and boy are there some creepy kiddos out there.

We talked for so long that we've got a TWO PART ep for you, and this week Ashley is chatting about that special something that children have-- the ability to experience the paranormal.

Are we born with psychic abilities?  Are we connected to our families by something other than the love we share?  Can children really see ghosts?  And just who are these imaginary friends anyway?

We found research from child psychologists, parapsychologists, nurses, priests, and first and foremost-- parents to try and answer these fascinatingly WEIRD questions.
