Ohh, Saints Preserve Us, Weirdos!

We're back in Ireland.... and Greece.  Welcome to Part Two of MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES!!

This week Lauren is going to be bringing us a tale of deception and betrayal.  The legend of LAMIA; the origin of the condemned woman, the scorned woman, the women who were purposefully omitted.

Ashley is taking you back to Ireland where we go in search of FAERIES!! While we're there keep off the fairy paths and keep an eye out for those tricky changelings...

Consider ye be warned: Lauren tells so many lies in this episode.  Lauren briefly mentions the movie Stardust and then LIES ABOUT IT.  She gets everything wrong-- seriously, everything.  Even at the end of the episode when she corrects herself-- she corrects herself incorrectly.  So we just want YOU to know that WE know that everything we said is untrue.  So try not to pull out all your hair while listening.

Hi Weirdos!

Are you ready for a magical journey through time?!  This week Lauren and Ashley are heading to Ancient Greece and the olden times of Ireland in search of MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES!!

This is Part One of our two part Mythological creatures episode and we're covering the saucy sirens of Greek mythology, the shrieking banshees of Irish lore, and a brief history of merpeople!

Next week we're on to the legends of Lamia and we're learning all about fairies!!

Disclaimer-- we had some serious audio problems this week and for that we sincerely apologize if it's distracting!  We're still working out some kinks as we work together (apart) through isolation but hopefully our next recording will be smoother!

Hold on, Weirdos.  This episode is intense.

But I do have some good news... LAURENS BACK!! This week Ashley and Lauren are going to be sharing some crazy UNSOLVED MURDERS.

Ashley is bringing you the mysterious YOGTZE Fall Case which occurred in Germany in 1984 as well as the death of LaVena Johnson which took place in Missouri/Iraq in 2005.  Lauren is sharing the strange disappearance and murder of Dorothy Jane Scott that took place in California in 1980 as well as the case known as the "Yogurt Shop Murders" which occurred in Austin in 1991.

This is definitely one of the more disturbing episodes that we have recorded and contains some of the hardest cases we've researched to date.  But with that said, the reason these extremely difficult cases were presented is because of how important they are to be remembered.

Warning:This episode contains graphic descriptions of murders along with mentions of rape and murder

Aye, Aye Weirdos!

Put on your sturdiest boots, strap on your booney hats, and make sure that passport is up to date because we're taking you AROUND THE WORLD in search of ancient treasures!

This week Ashley is once again joined by her handsome fiancé JOE OCHS and it's time for him to fulfill his destiny.  Thats right weirdos, that anthropology minor he received from a state college fifteen years ago is FINALLY coming in handy! We're going to be discussing anthropological/archaeological finds and frauds!

Does that sound like a snooze fest to you?  Well trust me, it's not.  We'll be searching for proof of ancient aliens in Peru, discovering the worlds first computer in Greece, digging up giants in New York City, searching for the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia, and surprisingly... we'll even encounter a serial killer along the way.
